Question! Do you suggest using Paint instead of Photoshop for Pixel Art? I have both but maybe Paint makes it easier bc there's less tools to worry about?

hey there! i like using paint because my computer already had it + it's really simple c:
i can't really say much about photoshop because i don't have it, but maybe it might
have some tools that'll be helpful for pixel art (?)
it really depends on you; maybe try both & see which you prefer? ^__^

Thanks for the advice :) I really hope I can get a drawing tablet so I can start some digital art. It is way too challenging using my laptop's touch pad. XD

You can do it! ^__^

Lol yeah I used to pixel w/ a mouse but now I'm more comfortable w/ tablet pen c:
& honestly, unless you can afford it, i don't recommend buying those rly pricey ones.
like i use a wacom et - 0405 - u, it's old but i pixel & draw digital art w/ it & i love it <3

I saw the cheapest Wacom Inuos is like $90-$100... not too shabby. I think I could save up for that :)

Yes, I did mention it's in the new MsPaint that most computers have??? c:
Pretty sure you could do this with other programs; you don't have to use the technique I used either!~

BTW, I do all my pics in Paint, do you have any tips or advice?

Oooooh, that would work! * v *
Hmm, it kind of depends on what you draw.
But in general, study color compliments,
shading, lighting- they will definitely
make your art look fabulous! dA has great
tuts so you should look around. Practice
practice practice is really important...
without it, i'd still be stuck in my old
way of pixeling - u -; Have a clean work
space and inspiration (like music) to help.
Be original! c:

I will definitely think about all of what you said! (I love listening to music when I draw! :music::heart:)
Thank you so much!:iconnewhugplz:

Maybe you could critique something in my gallery and tell me what I need to work on, or what I can do better?
please don't think that I'm trying to get you to watch me or fav my stuff, I don't wanna do that

ah, of course, pixeling should be enjoyable o v o
No problem ; v; Ah, I'm sorry, I'm not good with
critiques at all > o <; I'm simply not adequate
enough to help; I can mainly give out tips & tuts.

And no, I understand if you would want critique;
everyone wants to improve in some way so I'm not
going to assume that ^__^
